Drop-in is currently open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1-4:30pm.

Staffed by Master’s level social workers, drop-in is a relaxed environment where youth can hang out. It provides opportunities to spend time with friends, meet new people and participate in structured activities. There is a stocked kitchen accessible to youth for a snack or small meal, laundry and shower facilities, and computers for job searches or checking email. The monthly curriculum is coordinated by social work and counseling staff knowledgeable in trauma-informed care and developmental needs of adolescents. Many activities incorporate stress-reduction and can include programs such as crafts, cooking, yoga and movies. Psycho-educational activities geared to skill-building include suicide prevention workshops, healthy relationship workshops, and drug & alcohol jeopardy. As drop-in staff build relationships with youth accessing drop-in services, staff is able to provide in-house referrals to case management, mental health and substance abuse counseling and medical services.
