Funds can be used to pay for a variety of home energy cost s, including electricity, natural gas, oil and propane. All Dollar More contributions go to families needing assistance through a network of human services agencies.

Low Income Heating Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): 613-2200

Service disconnection or threat of disconnection is not required. These funds are usually available from November 15th - March 31st annually.
Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) -provides emergency energy assistance. Services include financial assistance for gas, electricity, oil, and kerosene. Other fuel assistance programs are also available including *Dollar Help and *Dollar More. These services are available at all service centers .
