Community Action Agency of St. Louis County

CAASTLC offers several housing programs for homeless and low-to-moderate income families throughout St. Louis County; programs include Home Buyers Club (for persons wanting to purchase a home within 12-18 months, helps them improve or repair t heir credit score, home-buyer education and housing counseling with a HUD Certified counselor), Transitional Housing Program (homeless families), Home Ownership Program (for families in transitional housing), Missourians Building Assets Program (matched savings program to help working families save toward a down payment for a house); rent & mortgage assistance; home repair workshops.

St. Louis Housing Authority

St. Louis Housing Authority works to provide a stable future for individuals and families with access to safe, affordable housing. Our federally funded Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) programs currently offer income-based assistance to more than 20,000 residents of St. Louis.

St. Patrick’s Partnership

This prevention program helped 850 poverty-level families in existing housing to overcome housing crises through utility or rent payments. Clients also receive clothing, food, bus tickets, and household goods.

Transportation, such as donated cars and bus tickets, is made available to newly employed St. Patrick Center clients to ease the challenge of finding transportation to their jobs.
